Morkerbook Kennels are situated in the country area of Bundaberg approximately 3.5 hours north of Brisbane. We are a small kennel, breeding for work, show, obedience, and companionship. Our own dogs are used for show purposes mainly, however our kelpies have proved themselves working stock including sheep, cattle and ostriches, while others have become Obedience Champions. We are the only kennel in Queensland to campaign 6 of our kelpies to become GRAND CHAMPIONS!

NEWS!! NEWS!!  We have another Grand Champion in our kennels and this time it is not a kelpie!  Our Swedish Vallhund Ch Dlarah Witchcraft has achieved her Grand Championship making her the 5th for our kennels.

MORE GOOD NEWS!!!  On 4th July 2008 we officially added another Grand Champion to our kennels in Australian Grand Champion Morkerbook Suntucht Bell.

What a way to start 2010 with Ch Morkerbook Burning Flame receiving his Grand Championship at just under 4 years of age.  This makes him the youngest Australian Kelpie in Queensland, to date, to attain this title.  It also makes him the 6th Grand Champion kelpie for our kennels, but the 7th Grand Champion to be exhibited by us.
